The shared text function is the seventh tool available in the Managing Collaborative Work Tools menu, in the moderator's side panel. It allows collaborative access to a text for group work, and the ability to save and send the text to participants during a meeting. Below is the moderator's screen display.

On the participant's screen, the shared text function appears differently. The participant has access to a tool bar located in the bottom of the collaborative work zone. We will review these options in this lesson.
