Objective: Running a PowerPoint presentation during a meeting.
Competences: Using the PowerPoint viewer and annotation options.
Target Population: Trainers, teachers, pedagogical counsellors, and tutors.

The PowerPoint viewer lets you present one or more PowerPoint presentations to participants and to add comments. For the moderator, a tool bar is available which allows you to:

• Display the slide thumbnails
• Jump to a slide
• Go Forward or Back one or more slides
• Open another PowerPoint presentation

It is also possible to display the whiteboard functions (5), and allow all users to make annotations to one or more slides in the presentation.

The PowerPoint display is different for the participants. Participants only see the PowerPoint slide:

In this lesson, we will review the tools available to the moderator when using the PowerPoint viewer, as well as the annotation function which is available to participants.
